Yes. Addictit Eyelash Extensions uses products developed with high standards of safety. Lash Artist are credentialed beauty professionals who have successfully completed rigorous training and evaluation.
how do i prepare for an appointment?
Do not curl your eyelashes or wear mascara the day of your appointment. Ensure that your eyelashes and eyes are make-up free, clean, and dry. If you wear contact lenses, please remove them prior to your appointment and bring your glasses to wear after your appointment to give your eyes the opportunity to adjust. Also, do not drink coffee or take any pre-workout substance.
how long is the application?
The number of natural lashes you have and the type of look you’re trying achieve will determine exactly how long your appointment will be. Full Set appointments can be 120-210 minutes. Lash Refills, 1-4weeks (28 days), can be 45-150 minutes. During the applications you will lay comfortably with your eyes closed. Many ladies refer to it as their “lash naps.”
how long do lash extensions last?
Indefinitely with routine lash refill appointments. We recommend ladies come every 2-3 weeks for refills to maintain the look. Typically you lose an extension every time your natural lash sheds out. Your natural lashes go through a shed cycle every 28-35 days, and new extensions can be applied as new natural lashes grow in.
how do i care for my semi-permanent lash extensions?
Ask your Lash Artist for specific instructions based on the type of lash extensions you’re wearing (Classic, Hybrid, Volume). Also, you’ll be given an Addictit Lashes After Care Guide. This guide contains general aftercare information and products to help extend the life of your eyelash extensions.
can i still apply mascara or eyeliner?
No! One of the major benefits of wearing Addictit Eyelash Extensions is that you no longer need mascara or eyeliner. The application and removal of these products can cause premature eyelash extension shedding and another Full Set appointment will be required. If you wear mascara or eyeliner, be sure to properly cleanse lashes before your appointment because makeup residue can will cause your Lash Artist to spend less time lashing. Dirty extensions will also compromise the bond of the adhesive to your natural eyelash.
What is required at the time of booking?
We require a deposit of 50% of the service cost to ensure a full set appointment or an appointment over 105 minutes. All other services will require you to add a valid credit card to your file. Without a deposit or a valid credit card on file, your appointment will not be booked. You MUST cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment time. By not doing so, or “no showing”, you will either forfeit your deposit or the credit card on file will be charged for 50% of the service cost. You are able to reschedule appointments that require a deposit once, 24 hours prior to your appointment time. After that, another deposit is required to ensure your appointment.
can i bring anyone to my appointment?
No, children or guests are not allowed at your appointment. This is a spa-type service setting and there is no designated waiting area.
when is it necessary to book a full set vs. a fill?
A full set is necessary if you haven’t had an appointment in 4 weeks (29 days) from your last appointment. If at your upcoming appointment you don’t have at least 40-50 percent lash retention, please book a full set appointment.
